Habitat for Humanity build

Mr. Flegel  and his student teacher Mr. Vlaicu accompanied students, Kelly Elliot, Sarah Thirlwall, and Jacob Moore to work with Adam Parnell and the crew from North American Trade School on the Habitat for Humanity build on Egerton Street in London.

In sports, the field hockey team wrapped up its season with a playoff game against SDCI. Unfortunately, despite a great effort, the team lost. The next activity for this team is the year end bowling party!

The junior girls’ basketball team has earned a spot at WOSSAA which will take place on November 18th, by beating Arthur Voeden  30 – 7. This team will play its first playoff game against Central Elgin on November 4th at Central Elgin.

Also on November 4th, in the  junior boys’ volleyball team will face St. Joes at home. This strong junior team is currently 1st in the standings with a recent  win against West Elgin and despite a close loss to Central Elgin. The senior team is currently in 7th place having lost their most recent games. This team  travelled to St. Thomas to face Arthur Voeden on November 2nd.

The cross country team wrapped up its season with great finishes at WOSSAA.
